A 61st anniversary is more than a milestone—it is a lasting story of commitment, family, and shared memories.

Today & tonight we celebrated two people (Paul Bennett & Venola), my Mom & Dad, who not only created my brother Troy & I, but raised us into the 2 guys we are today,
along with some help from our wives.

I don't like speaking for or on behalf of someone, especially my little brother of all people with his Master's degree in English, he knows how to say things, depending on the situation, in a much more elegant way than I ever could. But he's not typing this, I am, so you're stuck with me for this one.

The two of you and your love for each other...I do not think Troy or I could have chosen more perfect role models for marriage, and how much of an inspiration you are to us and our wives, not to mention the other Paul Bennett (our son) and his wife Ellen. She also has great models in her wonderful parent as well, who I'm sure are fantastic role models and are just as inspiring for her.  

Thank you both for doing all you have done for all of us, and still doing. I will not get into that list because it's waaaay too long for this page.

I hope you both know how much you both are loved by all of us, and so many others.

God has truly blessed you with such a loving and lasting marriage, and that,
in turn has blessed the rest of us in many ways.
